Lara...is a registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She is a graduate of the McGill University School of Physical Therapy and a recipient of the Clinical Prize of Excellence awarded by the CPPQ. For many years she practiced in her beautiful hometown of Halifax, NS, treating clientele with a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions and work, sport and motor vehicle injuries. During this time she continued her physiotherapy education and obtained post-graduate certifications in manual therapy and acupuncture. Upon relocating to Ottawa over 15 years ago, she became certified in the Vodder Method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy. Since that time she has continued to do what she loves - working and furthering her education and experience in the fields of cancer rehab, lymphedema management and orthopaedics.
Since 2016, Lara has been working full time from her home based physiotherapy studio in Blackburn Hamlet. She enjoys working with a diverse group of clients who inspire her every day with their dedication to their health and recovery - whether it be from cancer, lymphedema, injury, illness or surgery. |
